What is this site for?
Elioris is a play-by-post roleplaying website founded in 2020. The entire forum is based in the original world of Elioris. The boards determine the setting of the roleplay (RP), and within threads members can post what their characters are doing. Responses from others will come in, enabling character interactions between one another. Thus a story is born from many collaborators.
What is the world of Elioris like?
Elioris is set in a tribal era time. Magic assists characters in a variety of ways, but you will not find armor, guns, or other heavy machinery in this world. Groups are small and close-knit, dedicated to keeping one another strong and fighting off outsiders. Right now the world is focused on two groups: Silvestria and Abyssia. Silvestria rules a forested region, finding plentiful resources on the land. Abyssia was forged from a group of outcasts, exiled from Silvestria for murdering their leader. Tensions run high and skirmishes between the two groups are frequent, but a full war has yet to break out. Characters can be a part of either group or choose to set out to live the rogue life, fraught with danger but free of politics, in the lawless lands.
What kind of characters can I roleplay?
Roleplayable creatures are those of two original species: Naro and Krishi. Naro are bipedal humanoids with a variety of mutations to choose from. Krishi are quadrupeds with 6 subtypes that resemble animals found in the real world, but have an intelligence and social status equal to that of Naro. Besides true humans, creatures that would exist in the real world also exist in Elioris, but they cannot be roleplayed as a sentient character.

The vast majority of our forum is hidden to guests. Once you register, the entire Board Index will be visible as well as all of the pages containing information about our world, maps, and illustrations. Registering is free, but you must be 18 years or older.
